My name is Nuria. I am a Psychologist, a Certified Professional Coach specializing in expectant and new moms but most importantly, I am a Mother.
I graduated in Industrial Psychology in 1998, a decision I made by following my head not my heart – which even then knew I should have pursued Social Psychology. Following the path chosen I then completed a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management in 2003.
I built my professional background in Customer Care, HR and Finance of Multinational Corporations, but the continuous changes in our residential geography and the arrival of my second born made me face a new challenge and I decided to shift careers and become a Life Coach.
After my second child’s birth I suffered a huge life transition. I felt lost, forgotten, I couldn’t find my place in this world. Looking back I couldn’t see myself where I used to be and looking forward my future was uncertain and intimidating.
I was certainly a mother and I was very happy about that, but becoming a mother, as beautiful as it is, did not fulfil my soul by itself. I needed something else.
It was then when I heard about Life Coaching. With my studies in Psychology I immediately felt the match. It was perfect. So I registered in an online school and got my certification. Currently, I work as a Certified Professional Coach and I am accredited by an International Coach Academy (ICA).
Life Coaching provides me with a personal satisfaction that together with being a mother and enjoying the life I was given makes me a whole person.
Working with Expecting and New Mothers is very rewarding and fulfilling. It is such an honor for me to be invited into your lives, to guide you and to support you so that you can enjoy this wonderful and intense personal transition. I can now help find the way to those who are struggling with challenges that I have already being through.
I am very grateful for the opportunity to bring lightness to other moms’ lives.
Since I specialized in this niche I have worked with moms from many parts of the world. We have covered areas such as Adjusting to the New Role as a Mother, Improving the Communication with your Partner, Creating Structure, Finding ‘’Me Time’’, Defining your own Work-Life Balance, Dealing with the Uncertain, Stress Management or Building Up Confidence and Self-Esteem. And still, even though my work with these caring and resourceful women has enriched my set of skills, I must admit that my most relevant experience has been provided by my two little kids. I know what I know because my life has taken me to the point where I am now, and now, I know.
So I guess this is Nuria; mom of two, with a lot sleepless nights over my shoulders; with many decisions already made, some of them good others not so much; with many tears already cried; right here to support you; because I have been there and because I know how wonderful but hard it can be.
